PSU making weird noise

herromeme12

Hi

So my PSU is making a noise that is similar to holding a card against bike spokes.

It has made this sound before but it is more consistent now.

Should i replace it ASAP?

Just in case, my specs:

CPU: i3-4330 3.5 GHz

GPU: RX 480 8GB

MOBO: H97 PC Mate

RAM: 3x 4GB DDR3

PSU: CORSAIR BUILDER CX750M

Sounds like the fan is in contact with the grill (or some internal component(s)). If you look at the fan while it's not spinning, is it level, or can you see if it's tilted (doesn't have to be tilted very far to come into contact with something)?

Quote me in replies so I see them.

Probably some sort of a fan thing. See if you can see the fan blades hitting anything.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I can't check the fan right now because the fan is located on the bottom of the case and i'll need to unplug everything and check. But it has stopped for now. I'll check later
