Chuwi Lapbook or dell insipron 3452 14"?

applesuxD

For mainly studying (includes youtube for educational videos)

Which laptop works best? They're selling for the same price now as the dell's on sale.

Its hard to decide because the inspiron has 2gb ram, probably upgradable for like peanuts though.. same goes for SSD but I'll need new windows key?

The Chuwi has emmc from samsung and can add micro SD up till 128gb.

So the deciding factor is whether the Chuwi reliable enough, that it doesn't have a low price because it will spoil and have issues randomly..

I'd rather a slow consistent laptop than a faster yet very inconsistent one..

Let me know >w<

My uses for them is:

MS Office

Youtube

Printing papers

no games, I've ADHD so I have a hard time controlling..

We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”

It depends whether you want a good screen ( I believe the Chuwi has an IPS screen, while the Inspiron 3452 has an low quality TN panel), or better support (Dell's support or almost no support at all often found on these cheap laptops from China).

Also, the consistencies of the Chuwi ( or most of these kinds of laptops) is no that great, dead screen pixels, bad keyboard or trackpad (sometimes both!).

I personally recommend the Dell if you don't want to take the risk even though the Chuwi has better specs on paper.

The used thinkpads are all T420s or X220s and older for 200(same price) If i bump up about 50SGD i can get x230 for 250sgd, another 50 and I'll be in used zenbooks range
