It's not a 585w power supply, the 585w is bogus.

If you want something that looks plain, for sleeper builds, you wouldn't go wrong with some of the OEM Seasonic power supplies.

This one can actually do 320 watts on 12v, which should be enough even to run a GTX 1070 (maybe with some tweaking of power limits).

As for the power supply you linked to :

 

Look at the label:

 

12v at 15A means only maximum 300w go to power hungry components like processor and video cards but even that I suspect it's fake.

3.3v and 5v max combined is 105w, but look in the chart ... you can only have up to 3.3v x 13 = 43w and 5v at 13a = 65w

 

A power supply with these capabilities but with quality components inside would be classified as a 360w power supply but this is a shitty power supply that probably can't even do 300w on 12v.

Why the hell do you consider a 15 year old PSU?!
That was OK when it came out  up until 2006 or so but not today.
