Really depends, I'd personally spend around $500 on a wheel and pedal set (if I had that kind of money LOL xD) and maybe a shift stick if you really want to drive manual (like I do :)).

I have had my thrustmaster t150 for about a year or so and personally I would recommend it.

it comes with 2 pedals ( no clutch unfortunately ) but it does come flappy padels, it costs only $200 on amazon so you could also buy the shifter as well.

after using it pretty much every day the grips are still intact so the cheap price certainly does not mean poor quality

i have got the amazon link below if you want to check it out

If you can find a G27 for a good price, I would go with that. You get:

-Decent quality ffb wheel with shifting paddles

-OK quality pedals (brake could be stiffer but you get used to it) and you get 3 pedals: clutch, brake, gas.

-6-speed gated shifter <--- this makes it worth it IMO. ;)

Logitech is the go-to for budget($1-300), then Thrustmaster is a bit better and more expensive($300-600+), then you have Fanatecs ($300-1000+), and top of all the pack is the direct drive wheels like AccuForce ($1,000-3,000+). You could flipping the position of Thrustmaster and Fanatec, but I don't think TM has topped the Fanatec Clubsport series.

Since you seem like you're in the budget bracket, like 90% of us simracers, I'd look at Logitechs. The G29 is great but a bit pricier than the older G27 and G25, and the G29 doesn't add much or really anything at all feature-wise except Xbox One/PS4 support. But if you're serious about sim racing, PC is the only way to go. On PC, the G29 is functionally the same as a G27, except now they charge you an extra $60 for the 6 speed H-gate shifter.

I would recommend looking for a used G27 or G25. The only difference there is that the G27 has 6 buttons on the wheel, while the G25 only has 2. Also, the G25 shifter supports 6-speed AND sequential shifting (great for rally games). They use the same pedals, and I believe have the same internal belt-drive system.

If you have never tried sim racing and you're not sure you want to spend $2-300, you have a couple options:

1) Buy a stupid cheap wheel like the Logitech Driving Force GT. They're very common under $100, even as low as $50. You won't get the 6 speed shifter, or have 3 pedals, but lots of people have tons of fun on the DFGT.

2) Watch craigslist/ebay for a while. This is the route I took, and I managed to find a G27 with shifter and pedals AND a playseat evolution for $230. Bought that in a heartbeat.

Feel free to ask any other questions, also the folks over at reddit.com/r/SimRacing are great people who love to help.
