What is CSR Harmony?

I'm going through my startup programs through task manager in order to speed up my startups, and i came across a suite of programs with the CSR name. I know they are bluetooth related but I can't find any information about them online. Can I disable them without any noticeable impact on my bluetooth performance or anything else in the future?

I see this post already has an answer, but I will comment anyway.

I use CSR Harmony for my BT-118 Bluetooth dongle, to get access to the apt-x codex it has support for.
