Choosing between 2 laptops

I'm preparing to buy a laptop for college(next year) and I'm in between the lenovo flex 4 14 and the zenbook UX330UA

I prefer the lenovo one.

 

Either way, make sure you get the SSD.

If you'd like to save some money I actually highly recommend just picking up a refurbished Lenovo T430 off of ebay. I picked mine up for 350 (canadian rupees) The seller had even upgraded the Hard drive to an ssd and the battery to the 9 cell varient so i get upwards of 8-10 hours of work out of it. I could link you if you wanted

Zenbook, I have a Flex 3 and the build is shit and battery too, carries over to the 4. Flex 5 is pretty good though.

Wow, thats nice, but I'm still really into the lightweight and sleek astethic of the others

But which flex 5 would you get? I dont want to spend more than 700USD and none of them have an ssd

and they include U-series quad-core processors that have really low clockspeeds but super duper high turbos. 

 

i7 8550U is a quad with HT, and i5 8250U is a quad without HT. 

the 8550U is just behind last gen 7300HQ 45W quad, and it's 15 fucking watts.

However now it's a bad time to buy laptops since laptops with 8th gen quad core ULV and six core HQ CPUs are coming out
