Butterfly labs has a new service up for preorder where you pay $10.83 per gigahash. Does this seem like a good way for me to get into mining? I know it doesn't start for a few months. I'm thinking of throwing $100 at this. Is it 100 per month or per year, it isn't clear on the website. When I look at a bitcoin calculator it says 100 gh/s would earn me about $1600 per month at current rates. Does this seem like a good idea?

Do a quick search of "Butterflylabs scam", I do not trust this company at all. If you're going to mine, grab a nice AMD card and mine for Litecoin.

I would stay away from Butterfly Labs. They like selling pre-orders and then delivering on them a year later.
