Does mousemats matter

I got a cheap mousemat and I want to know is it worth investing money on a good mousemat. Does it make a real difference or not?

The only difference they make from a cheap to expensive one is the size and quality of the fabric, which the latter is a non issues.

Braiding on the side can be nice though.

I got a cheap full extended mousepad that my keyboard and mouse rests on for about $50 HKD since I got two for $100 HKD. The quality is decent and I'm not competitive enough for fabric quality to become a factor.

I mean just look at the logitech mousemat that logitech came out that cost like 100 I mean is it worth it

Going to get a logitech g900 and was wondering if getting a good mousemat was going to make a huge difference

No not really, I am not using moue pad atm and it's fine

when the mousepad cost almost as much as the g903 that is when I say no

Meh, I just bought a $15 extended mouse pad, and it is quite good. The only thing I want to say about the cloth mouse pads is that you should make sure the feet on your mouse aren't super scratched, because they can catch on the fibers.
