It's pretty much down to what you're looking for. Having an SSD will have a noticeable impact on everyday use like boot times and overall responsiveness. A 1060 will increase your performance in gaming. Personally I would go for a 1050ti and an ssd over a 3g 1060. Because imo, the bump in gaming performance you get from a 1060 over a 1050ti isn't substantial enough to lose out on overall snappyness of the pc, Now if it was a 6g 1060 or a 1070, it'd be a different story.

Get a 1060 and save up for an SSD. Cheaper to add an SSD than replace a GPU right?

Custom pinewood case, Corsair CX 600WRampage 3 Extreme, i7 980x (@4.2ghz) with ML240 Cooler MSI GTX 970, 24gb DDR3, 240gb OCZ Tr150 SSD + 2Tb Seagate Baracuda.

Advocate for used/older hardware. Also one of the resident petrol heads.

Exactly, that's what I've been thinking, I will get the 1060 and buy the SSD next month. Thank you!
