Only thing I haven't grabbed is the ssd everything else I got on sale and actual prices are posted. Sold some stuff to amazon so should have enough credit for the ssd. Case came banged up so amazon gave it to me free

looks like a good ultra budget build, probably gonna want a dedicated gpu or an extra stick of ram if you're playing any games

Htpc/linux general web box? Not sure got some good deals. I might put a gpu in later but I already be have another gaming pc

Yeah psu was b-stock from evga and a friend who lives near microcenter picked up the CPU with a $5 off coupon which cancelled tax. Got the mobo on Walmart of all places from a third party seller. The seller promised to update bios before shipping. Now to pray the psu is decent and mobo doesn't arrive doa but I feel those people just complain louder

Ah, yeah it shoudl be fine for that. General web for sure, not sure if it will do everything needed for an HTPC.

Basically as long as it plays back Amazon video fine it's good enough. Just sold my Xbox for a switch
