Posted August 30, 2017 Well they've just announced they are killing off the Miiverse for the Wii U and 3DS, allegedly due to problems moderating it and making the games less child friendly. The kind of things that get said in voice chat in many games isn't the kind of thing Nintendo want to be associated with. Splatoon is the child friendly shooter. Having people shouting a selection of expletives, racial slurs, homophobic slurs and threats of IRL violence would severely compromise the child friend aspect of the game.
