Can a Intel Core i3 4150 be overclocked in a gygabyte G1.Sniper B6 motherboard?

i am looking to buy both items, but i dont know if i can do overclock with them because i cant seam to find the rogth answer

You may be able to do some small overclocking using BCLK, but it's not advised as it can mess other things up. The CPU is not unlocked, so it cannot be overclocked via a multiplier.

Maybe with BCLK but I don't think you'll get much out of it.

you can touch the BCLK but my experience with 4th gen and BCLK is that it dosent want you touching it more then a tiny bit

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I have overclocked it by using Intel XTU for the memes. However I don't recommend all to do that since it could cause lag and overheat after overclocking and it just increase abt 20-150 MHz
