Hi guys,

 

I have a regular WD 7200rpm but it has been increasingly slow. I use Visual Studio everyday and it is pain with the very slow response times. I wanted to know:

 

1) Does my laptop support SSDs ?

2) What speed can I hope to obtain (depending on whether I have SATA II, SATA III, NVMe...)

Does it have a SATA connector? Then yah, and it'll load everything way faster. IDK about specific speeds, but browsers and such pop up after a second or so and everything else is pretty zippy.
