cold weather and my hardware

BendyStraws

Im in the process of moving, and I have my pc in my trunk. Its pretty cold outside and I was wondering if the cold could be bad for my pc? I did some looking around online and so far the best advice I got was dont take it in a warm house right away.

If you take it into a warm house water can condense on the components so you'll just want to have it dry out before using it.  Worse that can happen in my experience is that it's slow to start. Something may or may not happen to the hard drive.

if your really worried. then just wrap it up in a blanket and gladwrap and take it inside but don't turn it on for a few hours. unless you plan to throw it in a puddle..

Condensation will not happen unless it was sudden so it should be fine.
