games scale with available RAM. if you have more available RAM, it will use more of it. if you have less available RAM, your game will better prioritize the things you need in there and use less overall. 8GB is totally fine if you're doing only gaming. However if you're the kind of guy who has a messy computer, with a crapton of things running in the background, likes to leave a dozen web browser tabs open at once, and so on... then 8GB could be very limiting in some titles... but again, your game will prioritize  with whatever amount of RAM it has available to it, so even then you may not notice it at all in some games, whereas others may struggle a bit.

I am having a dual channel ddr 3 8gb ram kit at 1600Mhz. Is it enough for new game titles like bf1 and call of duty WW2?

you should be good, I run BF1 about 60fps at a mixture of high and ultra setting with ryzen 5 1600, 2x4gb ddr4 and 1050ti.

Nearly 100% sure, If you just running games then you'll be hard pressed to use all of that 8Gb anyway, most demanding games that I've played seem to use 6Gb or so. 8gb is a good amount to have

The only time I've needed more than 8GB ram is when playing Arma 3 with very high view distance, and even then it peaked at around 9GB usage.
