980 Ti. I've got one, and it's awesome. It'll run Battlefront at 1080 ultra, 125% scaling, and get about 100fps. And it's fed by a lower end i5, the i5 2400.

Then it'd fly! A 980 Ti is about 1070 level, maybe beats it by a couple % if you get a good overclocker and max it out. Has less VRAM than a 1070 though, but 6GB is still plenty for most games.

We have similar tastes. I rock a 2400, plan on eventually getting a 980 Ti or a 980. I play older games, or not too demanding games, so a 980 would do.

Yeah, I used to only play Battlefront II (2005) and KOTOR, and just got Battlefront. But it's a well optimized game, so my i5 isn't pushed too hard. I want to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 1600 later, but it's tricky to justify if my setup runs fine...

Then I'd go for a 980 ti, GTA can probs use the extra graphics oomph.

6GB of Vram is still good even for 4K, you just have to turn down some settings.

If you do you should send me that i5 and mobo lmao. My brother is trying to steal mine all the time. His exact words a few days ago... "I drive you everywhere, you should give me that setup then".
