Hey,

I am quite new to the forum so I hope this is the right place to ask.

I live in germany and plan on building a new pc, mainly gaming and browsing, because my old one starts to break down.

I chose to get an Ryzen 1600 and (most likely) a Gtx 1060 6gb, because I dont plan to game at 1440p or 4k.

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/KCLLQV

Mostly I would like some feedback and to know if there are any obvious flaws with my selection of parts.

Thanks in edvance and I hope my english isnt too bad.

1. 360mm AIO, seriously? Ryzen's heat output isn't high, even the stock cooler can handle an overclocked 1600. Of course you can use an AIO to reduce noise and get even lower temperatures, a 240mm AIO will be enough (and cheaper)

2. NVMe SSD performs the same as SATA SSD in everyday use since PCs nowadays can't even push SATA to it's speed limit, but NVMe is more expensive

3. PSU. Rated at tier 4, this unit isn't good. I wouldn't change it out if you have already bought one, but replace it if you have spare money.

4. Do you game at 1080p 75Hz or higher? If it's just 1080p at 60Hz then the CPU is too good. Just a Ryzen 5 1400 is enough. If you do play at higher refresh rate then you will need a GTX 1070.

1. Yeah I know that one is a overkill .. I am pretty sure I will buy the 240mm from the same brand.

2. I actually didnt look into this I just assumed it would boot faster, so something like a 850 evo would be better?

3. Got it really cheap (compared to other gold+ in germany) on sale,  I guess I am stuck with that one.

4. At the moment I dont plan to game at 60Hz+ , but maybe (with an gpu upgrade in a year or two) in the future and I would like to stay with the mobo+cpu for longer, thats why I
chose 1600.

Thanks a lot!

A Cryorig H7 would be perfectly fine for a Ryzen cpu.

Yes an 850 EVO or a Crucial MX300 etc would be good.

A GTX 1070 would last a bit longer, so if you go with the cheaper cooler and SSD you can probably fit one (GTX 1070) into your budget.

Would be about a cooler more expensive, because atm the 1070 is around 460 €.

So my best bet would be to get the 850 evo and the 1070 and wait a month to buy a better cooler?

The Ryzen stock cooler is fine as long as I dont overclock ?

The stock cooler is fine even for a decent overclock.
