Is This RAID Possible?

Raid 0 gives performance boost but doesn't make a backup.

Raid 0 has no redundency. if one drive goes out you lose both drives. Go RAID 5

You would be limited to the write speed of the HDD(s) 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

RAID is not a backup, the redundancy in RAID levels is there for drive failure. I have seen many servers data get corrupted though, even with redundancy. 

 

That being said, if you want speed as well as safety, look into RAID 10. It is a RAID 0 and RAID 1 combined, requires at least 4 drives, all the same. So in your case, that would be 4 1tb SSD's
