Watercooling pumps

What water cooling pump should I get I have a gpu and a cpu block planned in my loop my res is ekwb EK-RES X3 250 Lite what pump should I use?

Could use either the d5 or the Ddc from ek, ddc has more head pressure so depending on how many gpus and rads you use might be a better option

But also louder. Sounds like a rather standard loop so a d5 would be my choice. A d5 ran run GPU, CPU and 2 240 rads and a 360 without any issues

A D5 that has g1/4 ports.

Yea d5. Just got a second ek d5 for my loop. One with and without a res. Great pump. Ran mine with 8 block and 3 rads. No issues.

all the ek d5 pumps have that  

 

as for the pump, I got a ddc and can't hear it, but I got it as its smaller for my itx build, only has 2 blocks and 1 rad, so runs on a low speed

To be fair most pumps are rather loud to me. I run my d5 at around 800. That's around the speed they become inaudible compared to the fans

There are some D5s that do not come with G1/4 ports as they do not have the front cap. Those are the D5s for attaching to pump mods or reservoir mods.

I assumed since everyone on this tread seems to know what they were doing, that we could ignore those ones as would involve buying more parts

When helping someone you do not assume anything, unless you state that assumption. My statement was to cover if he knew or didn't know about the D5s without the G1/4 ports.
