About a week ago My Windows 10 store stopped working. It says "Store can't open; contact admin to fix or reinstall"

First off, i have not activated windows yet as wanted to take a month to check compatibility with all my programs. Nearing the end of that month is when this began. Now other apps that i downloaded from the windows store are acting the same way.

Is this a activation issue?  If so, I will just activate and move on, but if this is a windows 10 issue, then i'd like to know if there is some sort of fix. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, and i know thats the easy answer, but i just wanted to see if anyone had any insight on if  i'm spending 200 for activation on an ongoing issue that i'll have or if this is most likely the culprit

What can I say. Windows 10 has some bugs. When unactivated some features dont work. Not sure if the store is affected by this. Also, you can get the Full Version of Home for $119. Or is like $150 for Pro. The only thing Pro has thats worth anything is the fact you can defer non security updates for up to two weeks. Other than that, its not worth buying. Well that and you can connect to a MS domain if your in to that sort of thing. Not meany people are running a Domain at home.

I think I only ever downloaded one app and that was solitary. To be honest the MS store really doesn't have much going for it. Its not a feature I would base a purchase off of.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

A) Windows 10 Pro costs $199 USD (or your local equivalent

B) It has Bitlocker and also HyperV which makes it somewhat useful.

That could very well be due to lack of activation.

You do need a Microsoft Account to take full advantage of the Windows Store.
