So according to some synthetic benches that were leaked the RX Vega was slotted between the 1080 and 1080ti and that would seem to make sense going off the paper specs.

But If I got a Dell S2716DG, which is a 1440p 144Hz Gsync monitor, would I be better off going for either a 1080 or 1080ti for gsync or go for a Vega 64? There isn't a Freesync version of that Dell monitor is there?

Yeah, well there are 1440p 144hz Freesync monitors. But they may or may not be the same price or aesthetic.

Actually I'd bid that the Freesync monitors should be cheaper. Soz.

$650 preferably but if it were $700 I'd be ok with that.

Asus would be the one I would probably do. Looks the best/most neutral. Also cheaper c: kinda figured/already knew that. Really wished more monitors were Freesync. Already decent number that are. But if there wasn't any possible licensing issues having some monitors that you could switch between gsync and freesync would be cool but I guess since gsync costs more because it requires a special module means that it'd be harder to sell assuming there wasn't any restrictions on licensing.

For the 1440p high refresh rate bracket freesync and g sync actually are similarily priced.

Side note, 64 is not supposed to slot between 1080 and 1080 ti, amd even sees founders 1080 as the reference 64's competition.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Eh I can go with Asus's ROG THICC Strix 1080ti for even better 1440p fps.
