Tips for Photographing PCs? (especially ones with LEDs)

Hello,

Ive got a new watercooled PC that Id love to get some nice pictures of, however, my iphone 6S is not doing a good job of capturing it.  I have some experience with photography, and own an old Canon EOS 10D and tripod, but Im used to photographing people outdoors. Its also been a couple years...

Does anyone have any tips for photographing PCs indoors, while attempting to capture the LEDs inside the build, but hopefully without glare and other stuff.

Thank you!

Ill attach a picture of the PC in question.IMG_9235.thumb.JPG.a4b0028a6157737a857efae0267ffac4.JPG

That looks good but I would say it's also due to the placement of the LED strips if you have a direct line of sight to it your going to get some glare due to just how bright they are. There are ways to adjust for it and compensate, try to change the angel your taking the photo from and drop the brightness in the camera app since your taking with your iPhone.

Whilst it might seem janky, I've often found placing a pair of polarized sunglasses over the camera can help with photographing just about everything

I would rather not take pictures inside when it's this dark. Beautiful build man.

I agree, I'll have to figure something out with the lighting. I have a big shop light, or I can try again during the day. And thank you!
Theres a tip in the article linked above about turning the light on for the first 3ish seconds of a 30 second exposure. Id like to try that.

I attempted to take into account the advice given here, and what I found elsewhere, and Im pretty happy with the result. I used my girlfriends DSLR, so I struggled getting used to the settings, but I think it worked out.  Here is the result. Hope its okay to post these.
