Before current issue:

upon starting PC after it was off overnight, would start normally except an unknown fan would rumble loudly.

When turning PC off, then back on after a few minutes, no rumbling and normal behavior.

If PC was left unplugged for a while, trying to turn it on would do nothing, and would only start when button is pressed after waiting 10ish minutes - as if the PSU was charging back up? This persisted for a bit more than a a year.

Current issue:

While playing a game, PC froze, so I restarted with the button on the case.

The ASUS logo appeared, with the usual BIOS prompts, then a DOS-like text cursor would flash for a few seconds on the top left of the screen.

Then, no matter what I did, I could not leave the UEFI and go to Windows.

Selecting my boot drive would result in the PC restarting straight to UEFI.

About a day after, turning on the PC would result in a normal BIOS single short beep, then one short and 3 long.

Apparently this means a GPU issue.

No display, nothing further. All I could do is turn it off.

Issue persists after being left unplugged from everything for a more than a day.

This chain of events leads me to believe this could be a PSU issue.

The PSU, along with the boot SSD and CPU are all 6.5 years old.

GPU is about 2 years old.

I have no means to diagnose the issue, so I hope to figure out, at the very least, which component is the culprit to be replaced.

Thanks a lot in advance!
