Computer beeps 3 times and no signal on monitor

ErikB23

Hi all,

i've just built my first ever gaming pc and tried to oc the ram through a youtube video I saw. (Probably not the smartest thing to do). When I clicked save and exit on the bios, my computer started beeping 3 times and shutting on/off. I placed the ram in again just to be sure that it's correct. Every time I boot up my pc it beeps 3 times and I have no signal with my monitor.

Really scared atm, I don't know if I just fucked up my pc?

Specs:

Asrock AB-350M-HDV

Ryzen 5 1400

gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb

corsair Vengeance 16gb 3000mhz

corsair vs550 550w power supply

does anyone know what I did wrong??

I've done a bit of research

apparently it's a memory issue, how many sticks of ram do you have?

Try one and see if it works, if not try the other, don't have both of them in at the same time,

90% on the fact that you have faulty RAM :(

Check your motherboard users manual, it will tell you what different beeps mean.
