so apparently.. RED "the most expansive camera product ever" is working on a new phone called the RED Hydrogen ... which they also apparently claimed that will have a holographic screen enabled.. but if you dont like it just turn it off :p.. the prototype are rare right now.. but i found one from your friend MKBHD... what do you guys think of this phone?

I don't like the ridges on the side. I get it might be for added grip, but to me it just looks like something that will accumulate dirt. Other than that, it's an interesting product. The expansion options are quite incredible, and if you can actually turn one into a camera that will be on par or beat a high end mirrorless? Then I think they have a home run on their hands. Price is high, but if you're replacing a mirrorless camera and a phone together, it's not completely unreasonable. It will, of course, come down to reviews. This isn't a phone for someone just looking to make calls and play the odd game.
