I've had a similar issue in the past, with games crashing and my sound getting randomly cut off. I'm definitely not an expert on this and not sure if this is the issue you are experiencing...but for me, it was a connectivity problem. I took my graphics card out to clean it but I didn't push it into the slot firmly enough, and the slightest motion would cause it to lose signal (weird, I know, but that's what the issue was).

It could also be a motherboard issue??? Try clearing the CMOS???

Make sure all of your cables are plugged in? (Seems laughable, but trust me - you will be surprised at how many issues arise from people not having their cables plugged in.)

As @frozeNNN mentioned, you could try reinstalling Windows.
