So my $5 headphones were horrible, of course, and the quality dropped after the 9th day.

My mom gave me an opportunity to buy headphones by ordering online with her Amazon giftcard.

So can anyone recommend some good headphones that are around $20? Thanks.

EDIT: If you really think your recommendation is good, then they can go over $20, but not significantly.

If you really think it's good, then it can go over the recommended price limit. BUT PLEASE, make them below 30$ or a little above.

Renewlogic sells used Sennheiser Momentums and Urbanites for $35 (message them on Reddit and ask for a discount/cable), though that might be a bit out of your price range. Recert HyperX Clouds are normally ~$40. I guess neither of those are Amazon, though.

If you're looking for maximum audio bang for your buck at low budgets Chinese in-ears are your best route, though in-ears aren't for everyone and cheap ones don't always have the best QC. There are a bunch of them that can punch well above their cost, even with Amazon's inflated prices. KZ's lineup is a pretty safe place to start.

As for proper headphones, Tascam TH-02's are $20, are durable and perform well but aren't the most comfortable things. Koss KSC75's go for around $15 and use the same drivers as the Portapros in an arguably better enclosure, but their design is kind of weird. Superlux HD681's are $28 and are technically very good for the price, but have a fatiguing sound signature. Unfortunately at this budget there are going to have to be tradeoffs.

Tascam seems like the better choice..

On a scale of 1-10, what do you think the comfort level is?
