Hi,I want to build a new PC.

I'm wondering of I should go with a Ryzen 3 1200 with an RX580 8GB or a Ryzen 5 1600 and a GTX1050Ti.

My main purpose for this PC will be gaming.

My budget for the CPU+GPU (combined) is €400,and I want an AMD CPU.

Depends on what you want to do:

 

Gaming: 1200 + RX 580 - Will be good for productivity work too.

Productivity: 1600 + 1050 Ti - Can play 1080p games fairly well

 

Wait, can't you get a 1400 + GTX 1060?

I personally would go with the Ryzen 5 and 1050ti. Normally a bit easier to upgrade a GPU down the road than it is to upgrade a CPU. Plus the 1050ti will still perform well on most games at 1080p until you can upgrade it.

1400 + 1060 6gb. First of all, for gaming, it's better for the GPU to be better than the CPU. Secondly, you cant get a 580. They are out of stock.

The combination Jurrino recommended is great,but it just doesn't fit in my budget (€700).

1400=160 1060 6gb=€280

That makes €440,which is €40 over my budget.

I wanted to buy a used r9 290/390,but there have been 3 (!) scammers for graphics cards on Marktplaats (dutch version of ebay) in 4 days,so I'm not sure if I want to buy secondhand.

I mean the 580 is a better card but the 1600 is a better cpu it really all depends on what you plan on doing with the pc.
