Gaming rig for 550$

.My old PC is gone by now it was a crappy Dell from 2009, lol.

This build came out of no where. I was planning on doing this last year but ditched the idea, however I have most of the parts but 4. 

I plan on gaming a lot. I do my work on a computer at.my office but it's not intensive so I don't need a work PC. 

Things I can't change now are the cpu cooler, ram,psu, I would like to have an hdd also.

Ignoring the previous items I need these 4 items to total up to 560$

Mobo: gigabyte lga1151 micro atx ddr4 

CPU: Intel i5 7500 kaby lake

Gpu: 1060 

Case: most likely the be quiet pure base 600.

I also heard the ryzen is great. I am not big on and but I can switch up for that.

I also don't know how to overclock s CPU but will learn in the future. I know most about a pc but my knowledge is still growing.

What is a good amd motherboard that is below 90$

Are you just going to be gaming, plus Ryzen might be a better option.

I wouldn't get an i5, I'd get the Ryzen 1600.

I am mainly gaming, and little bit of side work but not much to worry about. I don't really know alot about amd.

1. Those parts will not total up to $550, and you haven’t gotten a psu yet.

2. Get an r5 1400 or 1600 instead of an i5

3. Don’t expect 60fps ultra for $550. You might be able to get there on high though.

4. Use pcpartpicker (PCPP)

Yeah, I'd go with anything Ryzen 5.

If you really have to pinch pennies, Ryzen 3 would be okay also.

I actually have had this cpu cooler for awhile now, I didn't think I was going to be on such a budget. I didn't even know I was going.to do this build until a year later.

It has an r3 1200 quad core which is unlocked so you can put your AIO to good use. You *should* be able to upgrade to a higher tier cpu when zen2 is released since it should also be on am4. 

 

As for the motherboard I would swap that out with another board that better suits your needs, or leave it if you want. Just know that I kinda picked a random one. Just don’t get an MSI gaming pro or any bio star board. Their vrms are crap.

 

And for the case swap it out with one that has the colors/features you want exactly.

Will it bottleneck? I am not big on PC and my knowledge is still growing however I know quite a bit on it. Can I switch the 1200 for 1600 or should I wait till the zen 2 is released? As for color it doesn't matter as the case is not transparent. What's a good motherboard for amd ryzen series. I don't know a lot about amd

1. Not at 1080p 60Hz, if you go for 144Hz, it might, but only realistically with a gtx 1080.

 

2. You can, but that will add ~$100 to the cost. Zen2 will take at least a year before it comes out, so it’s up to you.

 

3. B350 and x370 boards that are not msi gaming pro, are not made by biostar, and have vrm heatsinks. I would also recommend 4 ram slots for upgradability. Aside from that it comes down to how many SATA ports, pcie slots, and other features you want.

 

4. I would recommend doing to some research and also ask any questions you have here. I and many others will be happy to answer.

I do have 144hz monitor but I guess I can play at 100 or even 60 and just wait till zen2 comes out. Is the motherboard you recommended all the features you described above? Thank you so much this is a lot of help and research that would've taken me a week or

That cpu should be able to handle whatever frame rates that gpu can handle. Yes that motherboard has all the minimum requirements.

Is that bracket come standard or is Intel the only bracket that comes in the box
