So this is for a friend. Yes its over budget but he was willing to wiggle that far, but this what I came up with for it.

Can anyone make it better or is it as good as it gets :3 He is a first time builder so I am hoping that case will be easy for him..

I do ask that final price also includes shipping :v

Drop down to a Corsair CX PSU around 450W to save some money, you don't need anywhere near 600W. Personally I would get an SSD and a 1060 6gb, that really will be worth the money. Remember the 1060 6gb actually has more cuda cores and is faster, it's not just VRAM.

I personally just have bad experiences with CX. Even my RMA was dying out of the box. He also wants to upgrade to a better GPU later on so I wanted to give him some extra wiggle room. And it has more cuda? :v wuuut. I'll look into this!

That was the old CX stuff. The newer CX PSUs with the grey labels are MUCH better.

The new CX series are about tier 2, with a sleeve bearing fan. That makes them compete with the likes of the older RM and HX series from Corsair, the GQ and 550/650W GS from EVGA, and Thermaltake's higher end stuff

:)

@Kenji the Uke

If this is in USD... Seasonic has their S12ii 520w on for $40>. (MIR of $15)

But that is dependant if you wanna do a MIR.

I'd look into a different PSU, and perhaps a used graphics card? Check to see if you can get a GTX 980TI where you live for about the same price. I'd also check to make sure the RAM is on the QVL list for the motherboard, Ryzen can be picky.

I'd say get an SSD but at that price point it's an extra 10% of the total bill. I just can't imagine living in the HDD stone age.

Except that'd put the price drastically over his limit, unless you can make a build showing otherwise.

thats like says the iphone 7 is better than the 6s

HEADPHONE JACK

Not quite, the PSU with the grey label actually has better components on the inside compared to the green.

It's simply a better manufactured product.

Anything made by Apple is shit.

Totally incorrect. They have some of the best built devices around. They just might not appeal to you.

Well, if you want to pay for overpriced products or pay more for less then stick with Apple.

Some people prefer their ecosystem, warranty, updates, product support, etc etc and it's worth it to them.

I'm not saying that everything apple makes is good, Macs suck. But no one would ever call the iPhone "shit" or "overpriced". Linus uses the iPhone 7 now so if you want to continues this discussion why don't you take it up with him?

Who cares what Linus uses. Just because he uses it doesn't make it good. That's a completely irrelevant point. 9_9

There are 2x4 GB 3000 MHz kits available for ~$10 more. Ryzen really likes faster RAM, and since Asrock has updated the AB350 Pro4 with Agesa code 1006, most memory should run ok at up to 2933 MHz.

Atm, the Asus B350 Prime Plus costs the same as the AB350 Pro4. Asus is usually considered to have a better BIOS, and has 1 more Type A USB port, but other than that, it's just another option to consider.
