So I just installed my Gtx 1080 ti and started up some games. I got great fps in games like CSGO, Black Ops 3, and even Dayz Standalone ( I got around 100 FPS in that game). However, I opened Minecraft and my FPS was only around 90 FPS. I don't understand, I mean since that game is so lightweight, shouldn't it be around 400 fps at least? I have an I7 7700K, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1440p 165Hz monitor. I know nothing is limiting the game like RAM (I have Minecraft use 10 GB), the game's built in FPS limiter is set to unlimited, and I'm not using any type of shaders mod. Something to note, I'm running around 200 mods, the FTB Beyond mod pack for those interested.

Agreed. Your CPU isn't good enough to run minecraft at above 100 fps.

That sounds really depressing.

*NEWSFLASH* Kid spends 1000 dollars on threadripper to get better frames on minecraft.
