So this GPU is listed as a gtx 950m which I know it can't be because that's the laptop variant of the gtx 950. So I was wondering what GPU this actually was? I am asking because my mate's dad was thinking of buying it and they don't have much knowledge with computers.

This is the buy page for the card. And there are some links to the images if you just want the images.

vga , pcie but no power connector . If i had to guess , it's probably an 8000 series card.

I took a look at some 8000 series cards and it is very similar yes. What 8000 card would it be though if it was a knock off from china or something?

Looking at the gpu size , i'd say an 8400gs , which are typical of modified knockoff gpus , just because of how many are out there. But i can't seem to find that exact card..

i have an 8400gs and they do NOT come with fans.

they are passively cooled

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

there are some actively cooled 8400 gs cards out there, such as this one. What i find weird is that this card isn't half slot, whic is typical of ultra low end gpu.

Looking around , I am now pretty sure that this is in fact an OEM gt 315.
