Posted March 26, 2013 So i was thinking, I want to use my headphones (HD518) for gaming but also want to talk to my friends! Ive found two options so far: option 1 http://www.modmic.com + best/most effective option - expensive as sh** option 2 An adapter[/url=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Headset-Headphone-Mic-Adapter-for-Xbox-360-Controller-/130589395445?pt=UK_Mobile_Home_Phones_Bluetooth_Acc_ET&hash=item1e67bc09f5] and a clip on mic[/url=http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5mm-Hands-Free-Clip-On-Mini-Lapel-Mic-Microphone-k-/190467154941?pt=UK_Computing_Microphones&hash=item2c58ba23fd] + cheap - not ideal, would be easier if it was attached to the headphones (temporarily) any other ideas besides taping a mic to my face? Posted March 28, 2013 to interface my shitty turtle beaches into my PC I had to purchase a minijack to 3.5mm adapter you can probably pick up a 3.5 to minijack adapter for cheap so you can plug a regular lapel mic and plug that into the xbox controler. I also see used gameshops or pawnshops with games that have a rack of cheapass old one ear telemarketer type headsets for under $5 you can rip one of those apart and attach it via velcro or blue poster sticky (the playdough looking stuff) to your headphones.
