Crysis 1 2 & 3, which one is your favourite?

I was watching crysis 3 walkthrough just now, then I wonder, why are so many people thought that 1 is the best out of 3? 

Is it because its open world? 

 

I've played one before, but couldn't remember too clear about what it is, and never been a big fan of it. At that point of time the graphics was next level, that I'll admit.

My personal favourite is 2. I've played that game millions of times and never get bored of it. 

3 is an eye candy game. Straight forward shoot your way to win. 

 

What about you guys? 

Could you list some of the likes and dislikes you have about the series? And what do you think about crysis being inquired by EA? Some said that EA straight up killed the game.

alien invade earth and some shit? 

and a bunch of guys got this thing that's called : nano suit and basically turns you into batman with steroid. 

And you as the protagonist in the game has to fight not only  alien but the dictating government/scientist group: CELL.

So you get to be Iron Man and fight the Jitari or whatever and Hydra?

I have no idea what are those but yeah. Only thing is you cant fly though...

 

Also you should play the game. The graphic is just astonishing.

Oh yeah. Gameplay looks sweeeeeeet. And the Jitari things are the aliens that attacked the Earth in Avengers, and Hydra is the evil Nazi Scientists in Captain America and other Marvel movies.

Crysis 1 was placed in north korea and is quite different than 2 & 3 as it's more open world like so you can choose the way you want to attack. I enjoyed playing it more than 2. Warhead is like an standalone expansion to 1 and is quite similar, i just enjoyed the story more.

If you stop to think a bit it isn't too far from Half Life, a guy on a suit is batman on steroid fighting off aliens and since aliens alone isn't enough he has to fight the few humans left as well to stop the evil alien dictatorship using humans as slaves.

This plus the fact that at that point of time nobody can make a game as good looking as crysis 1 must be the reason that 1 was a lot of fans favourite.

If I had to pick though I think Half-Life has a richer world still than Crysis.
