Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido is an extreme overclocker known for breaking many world records in GPU performance.  EVGA teamed up with him again to make a new product, which basically is a GeForce GTX 780 Ti on steroids.

What is so special about it? 6GB RAM, no TDP limit and unlocked voltage. That’s why it’s refereed as a ‘new card’. At this point I don’t know if KPE is EVGA’s exclusive or is it actually a new model card from NVIDIA itself. Maybe that’s why we haven’t seen MSI’s GTX 780 Ti Lightning yet? Nevertheless, it’s good to see NVIDIA finally allowing AIBs to launch new models without pointless restrictions.

EVGA GTX 780 TI KingPin Edition will be released in December.

nVidia GPUs arent that much more expensive, run cooler than your AMD and they contain more features and support.

Yes a 780ti is much much more expensive and this will be more expensive than a 780ti is now. I'm expecting about 800 dollars. And yeah they might run cooler than reference AMD cards but last gen i had a 7950 with a 1275 core clock that was at 70c under full load stable. And each offer differing features that make both of them appealing choices.

My Rig "Corsair air 540, MSI Z87-G45, i5 4670k, EVGA ACX 780, Gskill sniper 2x8gb 1866 memory, Corsair CX500m modular 80+ bronze, corsiar h100i, toshiba 1.5tb HDD." / Peripherals "Acer H226HQLbid Black 21.5" (Main monitor), Acer S200HLAbd Black 20" (auxiliary), Razer blackwidow ultimate 2013, razer naga 2013, razer goliathus 444x355 speed edition, Sennheiser HD8 DJs"

It might be cool but EVGA will take the piss royally with the cost so....

At least CallsignVega will probably buy 4 and I can see the scores.

Wich Feautres you don't hear about anymore ??

PhysX has more support then ever it's in Planetside2,Batman Arkham Origins,Call of Duty Ghosts,Assassinc Creed 4 Black Flag and Project Cars and Star Citizen will also get support.

Then they just made the new HBAO+ wich already has huge support and they are patching more games in with every Driver update including older ones.

TXAA is also in alot of new games even in AMD titles like Crysis 3.

CUDA is still the only way to do professional work.

And 3D Vision is still the best solution for 3D gaming.

They also have now Shadowplay where you can record your gameplay without any peformance hit.

And G-sync is also on it's way.

And then there is gamestream support for the Nvidia Shield.

The only thing that AMD has is a cheap price and Mantle wich isn't out yet.

They also have true audio but only very few cards support it.

And TressFX is garbage.(Only 1 Game has support and the peformance hit is waaaay to big)

Umm, OpenCL is being used right now...

EDIT: Edit your own posts, not make a new comment.

In this case, CUDA is still a closed source system and only is having recent changes.

While it is awesome that they are making a 6GB 780 Ti...the chance that it will come in at $999 is the exact polar opposite of awesome.
