yea no worries just dont drink around it and perform unnecessary earthquake simulations. you can always get a dirt cheap case by purchasing one less stick of RAM. I bet if you ask around you can find an old case for free. I have two in my garage and im sure there are tech hoarders in your city.

The cheapest pc cases cost less than $ 20, although the computer installation phase also requires beer and a Bourbon bottle.

Check craigslist, there's usually someone giving away or selling an old biege box case for super cheap.

I'd rather use cardboard for a month and get a nice case rather than getting a 20$ case immediately tbh.
