I would not call a Mac "Bullshit" for any reason.A Mac has it's uses and PC does too.I provided a solution based on your criteria,It is under your own discretion whether to follow it.

The modern dell lattitudes are good, and if you can find one with a docking station its great for work, as you get snap on up to 3 screens, wired Ethernet, keyboard, mouse etc in one go.

Edit: I haven't seen them with great screens.

budget doesn'T matter, if it suits my needs, then its worth it.

I don't care for touch. higher res is ok but I don't need it. I do heavy photoshop and illustrator, perhaps video editing.

How big are the images you are doing? I have an older lattitude, and it does most things, but is significantly lower powered than my desktop. Most lattitudes dont have discrete graphics, and dell have recently announced new models, which from a content creation perspective are a downgrade.

If you need a laptop and want screen space, I would definitely recommend something along the lines of a dell lattitude. Theres a few options, the 5000 series is thicker than the 7000 series. There are also 14 and 15 inch versions of both, (the 15 inch has a num pad.) I would send you links, however the dell website and machine specifications are location specific, so they wouldn't be much help.

However if you plan on needing serious performance, you could do what I have moved to and use your laptop to do remote desktop over the internet. However this is heavily reliant on a decent internet connection at both ends. I find this works great for around university, and has greatly increased my laptop's battery life.

I have tested both the 6th  and 7th gen i5s and i7s found in the dell lattidudes, and the multi threaded performance is the same for both, as its the power limit thats the limitation. You get slightly better single threaded performance with the i7 but that's about it.

In terms of ram, I would not recommend more than 16gb, as a small pagefile (1gb max) can be used to store memory that has been allocated to programs, but they are not currently using.

If the lattitudes are not what you are after, maybe check out the 15 inch dell xps, they have great battery life, dedicated graphics, and good screens. Theres even a version with the adobe suite bundled at the moment (at least in my location). The performance wont take much of a hit, as the porcessors are the same as the lattitudes.

You could get a nice T530 or even an Elitebook. I'm a long time Thinkpad user, they are amazing machines and incredibly durable. The T530 could be easily configured with an i7-3940XM, I've tried one on both a T530 and T430 and was successful. The T530 can handle the heat just fine but the T430 had a little issues.

Another nice things about the T530 is that it can use the legendary xx20 series keyboard!!!! I guarantee you won't get a better typing experience from a laptop, you can easily install them with a dremel. It definitely saves you some money and in my opinion looks cleaner with the xx30 series trackpoint buttons.

If you were considering the T530 you can get one with a decent GPU and they can be configured with that XM or even a QM chip which outperforms most 7th gen i7's and the XM chips are even unlocked. They can even be configured with 3 storage drives and even32gb of DDR3 ram. They make really cheap 1080P panels that are great quality and Matte black.

CPU: i7-4770k @4.8ghz---Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z97---Ram 32gb Corsair Vengeance---GPU: 2 EVGA GTX 980 4gb way sli---Case: Corsair 600T White---Storage: 500gb 850 Pro & WD Black 4tb---PSU: Corsair RM1000

Still an awesome laptop, although that's not always true with Thinkpad Displays. You can find some nice panels with some amazing color details that will work with the T530.

I did comparison with the Macbook pro 13 inch non-touchbar and a dell XPS 13 when the mac first came out and once you factored in the better display, iGPU and SSD (while ignoring other things such as how the dell doesn't even have 'real' TB3 in the sense that its only 2 lanes), the price difference was less than $75 (estimated with kinda average figures) so...considering that you get the 'superior' OS (ignoring gaming),  I don't see anywhere suggesting that its overpriced (especially when compared to the competition).

People really do need to look at the whole picture more... :P

P.S. not really a reason to why should you consider a macbook but just stating how they aren't actually 'overpriced' once you compared it to the (correct) competition and (actual) competing products.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
