I7 7700k Dark Rock Pro 3 cooling

I recently bought i7700k and a Bequiet Dark Rock Pro 3 to cool it but my temps on 100% load seem really high.

100% load - 80C

idle - 35-40C

Is this normal?

Yeah the 7700k is just awful in terms of heat. Delid it if that's an option for you.

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.
