G403 Prodigy Wireless or G502 Proteus Spectrum (RGB version)?

kelvinhall05

Both of these mice are $100. Both have RGB. The main differences (that I know of) are that:

1. I think the G502 has a "better" sensor, but I'm not quite sure what that means...

2. The G403 is wireless, which I prefer a bit more, but would that be an issue with latency and whatnot?

3. I've used a G502, and I love the way it feels in my hand, but I'm not sure about the G403 since I haven't used it at all.

Ideas? I know that the G502 has an excellent reputation and a lot of lovers on this forum (@deXxterlab97, LOL), but what about the G403? Thanks!

1. Do you play games competitively?

2. It won't matter

3. Go to a local store and test

They are both really good.  I would personally try to get the g900.  I was able to get mine for $75 during black friday and I prefer it over the g502.  Wireless is just unbeatable.

I would get it too, but in Canada, it's like $150...

Yeah, that's what it costs in the US too. Just wait for it to go on sale, unless you need it right now.

1. Sorta, I play a lot of CS:GO, but mostly it's Casual.

2. OK.

3. I tested the G502 at a store, but they don't have a G403 on display (I don't think they even have it on sale).

I don't need it, but let's just say I've had my eye on it for a while.

EDIT: Using the Camelizer, the price on Amazon.ca has never gone lower than $130 new, and not lower than $110 used.

Either of the mouse is fine, but is there any other store you can test? IF not you can order it and test then if you don't like it return it and get G502

Then get it.  I recommend it as a owner of one. 1 year and 6 moths and still looks and works like day 1.

Yeah, true. Mostly it's the size that matters to me so it fits in my hand better (ladies).

G403 for competitive play, G502 for pure casual play or productivity. Same sensor, practically same latency and reliability.

Shape and weight are significantly better on the G403 for any sort of low sensitivity tasks.

I pretty much only play Casual CS:GO, but I like the wireless more. It just seems like it would make my setup cleaner.

What mouse do you have right now, and do you plan on playing low-sens?

TBH wireless and wired G403 are both great; even if the wireless is heavier there's no cord weight.

If you are getting g403 get g703

it's newer version and supports logitech powerplay.

I have an absolutely shitty Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000. I guess I play with lower sensitivity, but I'm not sure where the line between low and high sensitivity.

I think the $100 that Linus mentioned in his video was USD. Otherwise, I would consider, if not buy it.
