will something like the essence stx and the fiio e10 be about equal in quality?

That's subjective, especially when you get to 250ohm headphones, I highly doubt you'd hear any difference and would put money on a blind test that you couldn't pick them apart. However the fiio is $70 and the STX is $160

I'm considering to buy one of these:

Is the 250Ohm Pro version ok?

And I want a soundcard as well, which one would you recommend along with those headphones?

That's true. I think I'll go with the dt 990pro + fiio e10 then.
