Dont need a new monitor it is 1080p

already have keyboard and mouse as well

Give us a list of games you want to play, at what resolution and refresh rate, other things you might want to do with it, if you have stuff like monitor, keyboard and mouse or whatever.

 

You basically went "throw some cars at me" but we have no idea if you want a sports car, a family car or maybe a van O_o

Incredibly overkill for 1080p, but you have a £1400 budget, so this will do good for 1440p and maybe some 4k on med-high.

4k on a 980 Ti? Its nearly the same as a 1070 and we all know a 1070 isn't really capable of 4K.

C'mon it isn't that bad, it can get over 40 on GTA 5 on High settings, BitWit has done a video on it: 

 

So turning the settings a bit lower can get a nice 60fps to complete that 60Hz monitor, can't wait for a 144Hz 4K monitor though.

True, (gosh how did I not see this vdeo its amazing) but the 6GB of VRAM may not be enough, I think getting a 1080 now and getting a 4k/1440p monitor later on would be the best.
