Display issue, Random fps drop in game.

Go to solution Solved by njurben02,

OK, I'm planning to re-install my OS and compare different version (e.g. 7, 8.1 and 10) and see if it can fixed the issue.

UPDATE 1:

I've found some culprit programs that i used so often but i'm still investigating and making my own fix*

Actual Multiple Monitors (disabling "Multi-monitor taskbar" will fixed the issue)

Process Explorer (this one is actually always showed on my notification. Hiding it will fixed the issue)

*fix is not commonly found on tech forums.

Hi.
Can anyone help me? I'm having some fps issue when playing games while in dual monitor setup. I'm playing Rainbow Six Siege and had the game vertical sync enabled to match my 60Hz monitor's refresh rate and the fps is randomly dropping going 30fps then up again to 60fps repeated every 15~20 seconds. It only happens when i connect my 2nd monitor (not identical to my 1st monitor) and no problem when using single monitor only.

Monitors:

Main - HP L1910 (19", using HDMI to VGA Active Adapter cable)
2nd - Samsung SyncMaster E2020X (20", using DVI-D cable)

My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 Processor 3.2 GHz
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Single
GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 mini 2G
MoBo: ASRock H61M-HG4
PSU: EVGA 600B Bronze Power Supply
Storage: 1TB TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 SATA
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I would recommend disabling VSync. It can limit your framerate more than your monitor's refresh rate at times, in my experience. Aside from that, outdated drivers is really the only issue I can think of that would cause regular stuttering. Are you running any other programs while playing?

I have Firefox, discord, notepad++, mpc-hc (as music player) and some MS Office opened while playing. i have already tried to installed newest geforce driver and tried to downgrade to version around 370+ and still not fixed.

Are you running the game in Fullscreen or Windowed Borderless?

I play on fullscreen or sometimes in windowed mode (with border).
But both mode also has same results.
