Motherboard G-Connectors

Go to solution Solved by NumLock21,

The wires are not installed correctly. Power LED will be on, no matter what. HDD light only comes on, when the disk is active. Power Led  cables, goes above the HDD LED.

I have an NZXT S340 computer case and a Gigabyte Z270X-UD3 motherboard, and this is my first PC build. I've seen videos online that the power button and the Hard Drive indicator light up. I still haven't installed the RAM yet (I will soon) but is that the reason the case isn't lighting up? Or is it that I haven't installed the G-Connectors correctly?

those are a thing that happens during a POST (or near enough) and without ram it won't POST

Thanks! I fixed my connectors and they seem to be working now!
