What partitions to delete

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

First you should unplug all drives from the computer EXCEPT the one you want to put windows on.

Then, delete all the partitions until only one "unallocated space" is left.

Then you click next and finish installing.

When you're done, you plug any other drives back into the system.

Hallo

i have just made a clean install so i can setup my new ssd. I have deleted some of the other partitions, but im not quite sure what to do now. I want a complete new install (no leftover data).

Delete them all. This way, the only item on screen would be "Drive 0 allocated space".

WARNING!!!:This is if you do not have, for instance, a HDD with important files plugged in. If you do, turn it off, unplug that drive, then follow above.

Good luck!

No you need to turn off the PC.

Press the red X at the top right of the window to exit the installation process.

you can, but don't do it. moving it while on isn't good for the spindles and stuff.

just turn the PC off, unplug, and boot from install stick again.

Just install your OS first, then plug in the other drives and format them using disk management or file explorer.
