If I do some bitcoin mining or something like that, will it shorten the lifespan of my GPU any faster than gaming would?

Yes, and no.

The card will run at 100%, teorically you should make it work 24/7. So, in the end, it will die "before" what it would if you use it 6 hours a day to game, but in reality if you'd be able to game 24/7 as well, it would die at the same rate.

You played 2 hours to die like this?

Specs

Cpu: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6cores

Gpu: GTX 750 Ti (Zotac)

Mb: 970A-G46 ATX AM3+ (MSI)

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400

10gb Ram

If you run it constantly yes, It keeps your GPU at 100% usage all the time

Actually no. If you manage voltage and thermals properly then any electronics are ok for 24/7 usage they aren't mechanical so don't suffer from the degradation of moving parts.

A well taken care of mining card will live longer than a gamers card surround by poor air flow and being "abused"

This is assuming miners actually care about their cards. Judging by the GamersNexus video discussing manufacturer responses to mining and abusing RMAs, I'm confident gamers take better care of their hardware.
