I am looking for a decent speedometer and odometer for my bike. I would like to spend $100 or less on it and the only ones I see are some janky thing you run in the spokes that count the revolutions instead of GPS. I guess I could just get a phone stand and use my phone. But then the battery would die

Just keeping this here as a Yeah, they're a pretty simple device, and don't cost much. I had one on an old bike and it worked for ages. Finally broke from a combo of a dead/corroded battery and being repeatedly roasted in the sun and soaked full of water, IIRC.
