So yeah im super angry with the recent rumors that intel is killing off the g4560 (and pretty much instantly when i saw that most shops in my country removed the listings for it ) . I was super happy that i will finally scrape together   enough money for a new budget build ( my current pc is 11 years old ) and now this bullshit . I have no idea why they did it ( i mean i do -cuz i3 sales were being cannibalized ) , it was the most welcomed cpu release from intel in the past few years  and everyone was loving it , now they're just being massive dicks  with this

I just watched all the low end Intel CPU's go to sold out on one of the biggest AUS PC sites.
Seems like that rumor could be true.

You can try find used ones. Many people buy G4560s and upgrade to something better later, so they are widely available in the used market. They aren't old enough to develop significant problems yet, so just use the usual "check before you pay" method should be enough

Intel is not "killing off" the G4560, they are just limiting production.

I kinda hope that they make a 2C/4T R3 for $60 that can be overclocked on A320 boards, as a F U to Intel. lol

That would be awesome.

That would be impossible due to chipset limitations

I doubt that, if the G3258 can be overclocked on H81 boards, a 2C/4T R3 can be overclocked on A320 boards :D

Wow they are really ramping it down. Just tried to look at availability for fun.

i doubt  ryzen 3 cpus  will be around 60-70 usd  ,and i cant afford anything more than that tbh

I don't think it's impossible that there could be a Ryzen 3 product for $60–70 USD or close to it. Ryzen looks better and better the further down Intel's product stack you compare it to, so I think it would be a missed opportunity if AMD didn't go after the Pentium/i3 market. Of course I can only speculate about pricing in my own country, I have no idea how it will differ in Croatia.

Don't despair though, because it seems to me this is exactly what Ryzen 3 is for.

Does no one bother to check the source?

Here:

"Allegedly, Intel is planning to limit the production of the Pentium G4560 to artificially increase its price and boost the sales of the expensive Core i3 model."

Take from the digiworthy website the original source.

The cheapest Ryzen R3 will be 129$. With tax in Europe depending on where you live it's going to be 150$ or more.
