emulators for ps3

is there any good ps3 emulators and games ( I wanna play last of us if I can and other games) also what specs would I need for something like that?

You'd probs need some pretty good specs, and emulators always run terribly. Just spend $80 and get a PS3.

The only one that has a decent amount of compatibility is the RPCS3.

 

But just get a PS3. It'll save you a lot of headache.

Yeah, especially since used/refurb PS3s are pretty cheap.

Just get an actual PS3. You'll have the full experience without all the headaches. Even emulators for older generation consoles like the PS2 are still buggy as hell and crash frequently.

Shame you don't have the money for a PS3 right now, since The Last of Us is $5 on the Playstation Store (the price expires at 10AM PST tomorrow morning though).

 

You might look into Playstation Now to stream PS3 games to your PC. There is a 7 day free trial, first month is $10, and after that it's $20 a month. But you can currently buy a 12 month subscription for $100. I think you need a Dualshock 3 or Dualshock 4 controller to use with your PC though.

EDIT: Nevermind, RPCS3 looks like it plays even its best games like shit

Hopefully in five years or so RPCS3 will be where say PCSX2 is now for the PS2. I would love to be able to archive all my PS3 games to play on PC.
