GPU Upgrade Help

slyffer6

Hey all!

I have called upon the GPU gods from this forum to help me with this dilemma: I want to upgrade my GPU. [R9 270 (Non X)]

I currently have an I7-6700k and the works so hardware bottle necking isn't an issue just money... Im currently 16 and saving up for a car so I want something that isn't going to break the bank (I also recently bought the new CPU and E-Girl sooooo I'm still kinda broke).... maybe around $250AU price range.

Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

The current card you have should be fine for 1080p, but if you were to look for deals on cards on gumtree, even if it is over your budget, you can sell that R9 270 for some good cash.

Our equivalent of craigslist, selling used things.

Only option new is a 1050ti, but not alot of performnce gain (Some, but only 20% so up to you). I would look used if you can.

we dont have to use pounds, which are worth a lot but it isnt worth a lot if you're paying a 1:1 from pound to usd.

It is one of linus' sponsor

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later
