ANOTHER Folding Question

So, I can't access the computer I fold on during the week, and I want to check in on it's progress through the week. It has an always-on internet connection, too.

So you want to remote connect to it? Just use Logmein or Teamviewer... 

 

Idk if thats really what you are wanting. but that is how I under stand it.

I don't want to do that, since my grandma's internet is crazy slow, but I was wondering if there was kind of like a "summary screen", is how I can think to word it, where it shows what it's done. Maybe @Whaler_99 or @Mentalguy could shed some light on this?

You can always check on the stats site, to see if they are incrementing. 

 

Also, search on HFM in the forum - one of the users posted about using HFM.NET to upload info to a dropbox I think it was to be able to view his activity. Baring that, LogMeIn is an ok solution and does not need a lot of bandwidth...

My grandma's router get's a COMBINED 1.5 megabit per second download. Share that across 3 or 4 (usually 3) computers that are all on..... It brings you down to about 56.6K speeds. Ew. AND her data cap is only 2. Freaking. Gigabytes.

can't you use hfm.net to create a website so that you can track the progress from your cellphone and whatnot, basicly anything that can access the site.

im not saying you definitely can, im saying i "think" it's possible.

 

should also be able to set it to send you an email if something goes wrong, and  it gets stuck, but i don't think that works to well and is more trouble than it's worth.

 

 

Edit: at hfm-net.com it's listed in the feature list, from website generation and downwards, i think it should generate the website, update it, and do everything for you, you just have to configure it properly, then again, i haven't tried this myself.
